Your First Step
What to Expect
Everything you need to know before, during, and after your session with Morgan
You are safe here
If you have never experienced shamanic healing, Reiki, energy work, or ceremony before, it is completely natural to have questions or feel unsure about what to expect. You do not need prior experience or a deep understanding of these practices to begin. Morgan creates a welcoming, intentional space where you are invited to arrive exactly as you are. Before your session begins, there will be time to talk, ask questions, share what has brought you here, and discuss anything you would like Morgan to know. Your comfort, boundaries, and readiness are honored throughout the experience.
You do not have to know exactly what you need before you arrive. Sometimes that becomes clearer once the space is opened and the work begins.
The Session Journey
How a session unfolds
Before you arrive
Before your session, you may be asked to complete a brief intake form so Morgan can better understand what is bringing you to the session and anything you would like her to be aware of. You do not need to know exactly what you are seeking or what needs to happen. You may arrive with a specific intention, question, or area of focus, or simply come with an openness to receive what the session brings forward.
Opening the space
Your session begins by creating a grounded, intentional space for the work ahead. Depending on the offering, Morgan may begin with prayer, calling in the sacred directions, grounding, intention setting, or other practices she feels guided to use. This opening creates a sacred container for the session and allows you to gently transition away from the outside world and into the experience.
The healing work
The heart of the session unfolds according to the offering you have chosen and what arises within the experience. Rather than following a predetermined formula, Morgan works intuitively and follows the guidance of the healing process as it unfolds. Depending on the session, this may include shamanic journeying, Reiki or energy work, soul retrieval, power animal work, extraction healing, cord cutting, ancestral or past-life work, chakra balancing, oracle cards, grounding, or intuitive spiritual guidance. Sacred sound through drumming, rattling, singing bowls, meditation music, voice, or other vibrational tools may also be incorporated when Morgan feels guided to use them. Every experience is personal. You may notice warmth, tingling, emotions, memories, imagery, deep relaxation, stillness, or subtle shifts—or you may simply feel peaceful and present. There is no particular experience you are expected to have.
Integration and sharing
After the healing work, there is time to gently return to the present and talk about what arose during the session. Morgan may share what she received or experienced during the work, and you are welcome to share your own experience, ask questions, or simply take a moment to process. This is an important part of integration—a space to reflect on what came forward and explore any guidance, messages, or insights that may support you as you move forward.
Closing the space
Every session closes with intention and care. Morgan will close the sacred space, offer any final guidance, and allow time for you to ground and gently return to the present moment. Before you leave, Morgan may offer simple integration practices to support you in the days that follow. This may include rest, hydration, grounding, journaling, time in nature, or simply allowing yourself space to notice what continues to unfold.
How to Prepare
Arriving well
Eat lightly beforehand
A light meal 1–2 hours before your session is ideal. Avoid heavy food, alcohol, or stimulants on the day of your session.
Wear comfortable clothing
Loose, comfortable clothing allows your body to relax fully. You will remain fully clothed throughout the session.
Set an intention
Take a few quiet moments before your session to reflect on what you are bringing and what you are hoping for. Even a simple intention — 'I am open to what is needed' — is enough.
Arrive a few minutes early
Give yourself time to arrive, settle, and transition out of the busyness of your day before the session begins.
Plan for integration time
The experience of a session may continue to unfold after you leave. Whenever possible, give yourself some spaciousness afterward rather than rushing immediately back into a busy schedule. A gentle walk, quiet time, journaling, time in nature, or rest can create space for reflection and integration.
After Your Session
The days that follow
Every person experiences shamanic and energy work differently. For some, the experience feels subtle. For others, insights, emotions, dreams, memories, or a new awareness may continue to arise in the days following a session. There is no particular way you are supposed to feel. You may feel reflective, emotional, peaceful, tired, energized, or simply like yourself. Rather than searching for a specific result, allow yourself time to notice what arises without judgment. In the days following your session, you may feel called to journal, spend time in nature, rest, drink plenty of water, meditate, or simply create a little more quiet in your day. Integration is personal, and you are encouraged to listen to what feels supportive for you. If questions arise about something you experienced during your session or something Morgan shared with you, you are welcome to reach out. A Gentle Note: Sacred Sky Healing offers spiritual and energetic practices intended to support personal reflection, spiritual exploration, and well-being. Integration tips
Remote Sessions
Healing across distance
Shamanic healing and energy work can also be offered remotely, allowing you to receive a session from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Morgan approaches remote sessions with the same care, intention, and sacred preparation as her in-person work. Sessions are conducted through video call, where Morgan creates sacred space, connects with you and your intention, and follows the guidance that arises throughout the session. Depending on what is needed, a remote session may include shamanic journeying, energy work, spiritual guidance, drumming or rattling, intuitive messages, and time for reflection and integration. For some people, being in their own familiar environment allows them to relax more deeply and feel especially comfortable receiving the experience.
All you need is a quiet, private space, a comfortable place to lie down or sit, and a reliable internet connection.
